Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Bokombaev in the Ton district of the Issyk-Kul region.
Graduated from KSU (1954), postgraduate studies there as well (1968).
Worked as a proofreader, literary employee, librarian, school teacher, junior and senior research associate, head of the sector, leading and chief research associate at the Institute of Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and since 1997 - scientific consultant at the Institute for Targeted Training of Specialists and the Institute of International Educational Programs of KNU.
Specialist in the field of linguistics (Kyrgyz language).
Awarded medals from the USSR.
Published more than 40 scientific works, including 3 monographs.
