Sadykov Abdykadir (1933),
Doctor of Philological Sciences (1972), Professor (1983), Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1979)
Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kara-Suu, At-Bashinsky District, Naryn Region.
Graduated from KGU (1953), and completed postgraduate studies there (1959).
Worked as a lecturer at OGPi, KZPi, junior and senior research fellow, head of the sector, deputy director, and director of the Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR; since 1988 - professor, head of the department at KGNU.
Specialist in Kyrgyz literary studies.
Academician of the International Public Aitmatov Academy (1994).
Awarded the USSR medal and the Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (1994). More than 300 scientific works published, including 28 monographs and 2 textbooks.
Under his supervision, 2 doctoral and 30 candidate dissertations have been defended.
