Sulaiman Kulov Kakin (1933),
Doctor of Chemical Sciences (1967), Professor (1968), Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1984), Laureate of the State Prize of the KR in the field of science and technology (1995)
Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Novorossiysk (Shabdan) in the Kemin district of Chui region.
Graduated from KSU (1953), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1957).
Worked as a junior and senior researcher, head of the laboratory and department, director of the INKH of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, since 1993 - the first vice-president of the National Academy of Sciences of the KR.
Specialist in the field of chemistry and chemical technology.
Awarded medals of the USSR, Honorary Certificates of the Supreme Council of the KR, and a medal from Pakistan. Honored Worker of Science of the KR (1993).
Laureate of the J. Balasagyn Prize. Published more than 350 scientific works, including 5 monographs, 2 textbooks, and 20 author certificates and patents.
Under his supervision, 4 doctoral and 38 candidate dissertations have been defended.
