Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kerege-Tash, Aksu District, Issyk-Kul Region.
Graduated from KGMI (1952), postgraduate studies there (1958).
Worked as an assistant, associate professor, head of the department, professor of hospital surgery at KGMA, and since 1996 - director of the National Surgical Center of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in clinical and experimental surgery.
Academician of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Kazakhstan (1995).
Awarded the Orders of the October Revolution, the Red Banner of Labor, Friendship of Peoples, Manas III degree of the Kyrgyz Republic (1997), medals of the USSR, Honorary Certificates of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR. Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz SSR (1973). Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz SSR (1987). Laureate of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic named after I.K. Akhunbaev (1995).
Published more than 250 scientific works, including 9 monographs, 7 textbooks, 1 invention.
Under his supervision, 3 doctoral and 14 candidate dissertations were defended.
