Mambet Mamakeevich Mamakeev - Founder of the Kyrgyz Scientific School of Surgery
Born on October 1, 1927, in Kyrgyzstan, Issyk-Kul region, Ak-Suu district, village of Kerege-Tash.

1952 - Graduated from the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute
1952 - Clinical residency
1958-1962 - Assistant
1962-1972 - Associate Professor
Scientific and organizational achievements:
M.M. Mamakeev: Designed and created a modern surgical complex with a multidisciplinary structure and functionality;
Organized a leading scientific and medical educational institution on this basis, granting it the status of a National Center;
Established a large scientific and practical surgical school with a positive tradition;
Integrated the surgical services of the republic on this basis, creating the Association of Surgical Societies of Kyrgyzstan with its headquarters within the National Surgical Center;
Integrated republican surgery into the global surgical community.
