Akhunbaeva Nelli Isaevna (1937), Doctor of Medical Sciences (1972), Professor (1974)Kyrgyz. Born in Frunze. Graduated from KGMI (1960).
Worked as a resident physician at the Przhevalskaya Hospital, RKB, assistant, associate professor, professor, head of the department at KGMA, currently - professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases at KRSU. Specialist in general and thoracic surgery.
Awarded medals of the USSR, Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR. Honored Doctor of the KR. Laureate of the I.K. Akhunbaev Award. More than 150 scientific works published, including 8 monographs. Under her supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
