Askarov Tendik Askarovich (1937), Doctor of Philosophy (1993), Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (2000).Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Konur-Oguz, Toktogul District, Jalal-Abad Region. Graduated from KSU (1960), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1963).
Worked as a research associate, scientific secretary of the Institute of Philosophy and Law, deputy editor-in-chief of the weekly "Kyrgyzstan Madeniyaty," deputy head of the propaganda and agitation department, deputy head of the culture department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, chairman of the Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan, head of the sector, and since 1996 - head of the department at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of aesthetics, philosophical issues of artistic culture (social philosophy, history of philosophy). Awarded the Orders of Friendship of Peoples, the Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, and Honorary Certificates of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995). More than 250 scientific works published, including 4 monographs. Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
