Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Chorgolu, Panfilov District, Chui Region. Graduated from OGPi (1955), postgraduate studies at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Pedagogy (1965).
Worked as a teacher, deputy principal, principal of a secondary school, senior researcher at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Pedagogy, associate professor, and professor at KGNU. Specialist in the field of pedagogy and literary studies.
Academician of the International Public Aitmatov Academy. Member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of the USSR and the Kyrgyz SSR.
Honored Teacher of the Kyrgyz SSR (1983). Published over 200 scientific works, including 5 monographs, 20 textbooks, and teaching-methodological manuals. Under his supervision, 7 candidate dissertations were defended.
