Kyrgyz. Born in Frunze.
Graduated from Moscow State University (1955), postgraduate studies at the Moscow Research Institute of Artistic Industry (1959).
Worked as a research associate at the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, senior lecturer, associate professor at KJPI, associate professor at FPI, and since 1979 - head of the Department of KTU. Specialist in the field of art studies, aesthetics, philosophy, and cultural studies.
Academician of the Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic (1998), International Academy of Sciences, Education, Industry, and Arts (1997).
Awarded medals of the USSR, Honorary Certificates of the Kirghiz SSR, and the "Dank" medal (1998).
Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz SSR (1985).
Published over 200 scientific works, including 8 monographs, 70 brochures, and 1 textbook.
Under her supervision, 1 doctoral and 7 candidate dissertations have been defended.
