Anemone obtusiloba D. Don.

Status: VU. It is the rarest species among the 4 Kyrgyz congeners, distributed in the Terskey Ala-Too Mountain Range and Sary-Dzhaz River basin. It occurs on stony slopes in highlands. Period of flowering: July, reproduction is generative (by seeds). Data on cultivation and population (stocks in nature) are absent. Limiting factors include human economic activity and excessive cattle pasturage, which are unstudied. Currently, it is not under any protection despite being included in the Red Book of the country in 1985. Studies of its area, population in nature, and possibilities for introduction in a botanical garden should continue, and the creation of a botanical wildlife area in its habitats is necessary for the preservation of the species.
