Status: VU. This is critically endangered very rare narrow-spread ornamental plant species, known only from the western part of the Fergana Mountain Range (Baubash-Ata Mountain spur). It populates clefts in rocks in the alpine zone, reproduction is generative (by seeds), renewal in nature is not studied (the plant fruits in August, flowering is probably in June). The number is insignificant. Limiting factors: intensive economic activity. Creation of a botanical wildlife area in the habitat is necessary. This plant of high ornamental value needs to be introduced into culture in botanical gardens.
