Cultivation. No information available.

Existing conservation measures. Listed in the Red Book of the USSR (1984), Red Book of the Kyrgyz SSR (1985). No special measures have been developed.

Status: VU. This dwarf semi-shrub petrophyte plant is a rare narrowly distributed endemic of Southern Kyrgyzstan. It populates rocky clefts in the canyon of the Naryn River in an area between Karakul town and the junction of the Karasu River (a right tributary of the Naryn). Flowering period: July - September, propagation is generative (by seeds). The number in nature is insignificant, and data on cultivation are absent. Limiting factors: the narrow distribution of the species and habitat destruction due to various human disturbances. The species is listed in the Red Book of the USSR and in the Red Book of Kyrgyzstan. It is necessary to create botanical wildlife areas in sites with abundant populations.
