Kyrgyz. Born in the city of Kyzyl-Kiya, Osh region.
Graduated from the Moscow Geological Exploration Institute (1957).
Worked as a junior and senior research associate, head of the sector, head of the laboratory of the Institute of Geology, director of the Institute of Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, head of the laboratory of the Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the fields of general and regional geology; metallogeny; geophysics (seismology and radiogeology).
Awarded medals of the USSR, Certificate of Honor and Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR (1976, 1982), Honorary Medal named after Faraday of the IVTAN USSR. Published more than 140 scientific works, including 10 monographs.
Under his supervision, 4 doctoral and 10 candidate dissertations were defended.
