Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kara-Oy, Talas District, Talas Region.

Graduated from KGU (1954), postgraduate studies at Kirg. NIIIP (1964).

Worked as head of the sector at the editorial office of the magazine "Mugalimderge zhardam", teacher at secondary school, junior researcher,
senior researcher at the Institute of Language and Literature of the Kyrgyz SSR, associate professor, head of the department, dean of OGPi, since 1994 - professor, head of the department at KGNU.

Specialist in the methodology of teaching the Kyrgyz language.

Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995).

Published more than 50 scientific works, including 1 monograph, 7 textbooks, and educational-methodical manuals.
