Salamatov Zholdon (1932),

Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Orto-Saz, Tian-Shan District, Naryn Region.

Graduated from KGU (1953), and completed postgraduate studies there (1957).

Worked as a lecturer at KGU, assistant at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Work at KJPI, senior researcher at the Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, Rector of the Przhevalsky State Pedagogical Institute, Secretary of the Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Director of the RMVC, Head of the Department, Chief Geophysicist of the OMC of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, Associate Professor, Professor at KJPI, Dean of the I. Arabayev Kyrgyz State Pedagogical University and Chui University, and since 1999 - Professor, Head of the Department at KGU STA.

Specialist in fluid and gas mechanics, mathematical analysis.

Academician of the Russian Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences (2000).

Awarded medals of the USSR.

Published more than 60 scientific works, including 8 textbooks and teaching aids.

Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations were defended.
