Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kegety, Chui region.
Graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute (1947).
Worked as a teacher, head of the department at OGP, junior and senior research fellow, director of the Institute of Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences, Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Kyrgyz SSR, currently - head of the Department of Grammar and Speech Culture at the Institute of Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of the Kyrgyz language.
Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, certificates and
Honorary Certificates of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (1998).
Published more than 80 scientific works, including 9 monographs and textbooks.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
