Imazov Mukhamet Khusezovich (1941),
Doctor of Philological Sciences (1995), Professor (1998), Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (2000)
Dungan. Born in the village of Aleksandrovka, Moscow District, Chui Region. Graduated from KGU (1964), postgraduate studies at the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1971).
Worked as a teacher in secondary school, senior laboratory assistant, junior researcher, senior researcher, head of the sector, chief researcher, acting head of the department, and since 1999 - head of the Department of Dungan Studies at the Institute of Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in Dungan linguistics. Awarded the medal of the USSR, Certificate of Honor of the Kyrgyz Republic (1991).
Published over 50 scientific works, including 8 monographs and 5 textbooks.
Under his supervision, 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
