Dungan. Born in Frunze.
Graduated from the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute (1950), postgraduate studies at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1953).
Worked as a junior researcher at the Kyrgyz Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, head of the sector at the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, and since 1969 - head of the department at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in Dungan studies (Sinology).
Awarded medals of the USSR and Honorary Certificates of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR.
Published over 200 scientific works, including 7 monographs, 4 textbooks, and educational-methodological manuals.
Under his supervision, 2 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations were defended.
