Bazarkanov Kochkumbay (1924), Doctor of Economic Sciences (1985), Professor (1987).Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Darkhan, Jeti-Oguz District, Issyk-Kul Region. Graduated from the Faculty of History of KSU (1952), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1967). Worked as head of the 2nd department of the Kyrgyz Military Commissariat, military commissar of the city of Osh, senior researcher, chairman of the collective farm, lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, and since 1995 - scientific consultant at the Institute of International Relations of KGNU.
Specialist in the field of political economy. Awarded orders and medals for World War II, Honorary Certificates from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, and the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR. Published more than 20 scientific works, including 8 monographs.
