Dungan. Born in Almaty, Kazakh SSR. Graduated from KazGU (1953).

Worked as a junior and senior research fellow at the Institute of Language and Literature, senior research fellow at the Department of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.

Specialist in the history of Dungans in the 20th century.

Published more than 20 scientific works, co-author of “Essays on the History of Soviet Dungans”.
