Kyrgyz. Born in the city of Naryn. Graduated from KGMI (1977), postgraduate studies at the Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (Moscow, 1984).
Worked as a clinical resident at KGMI, junior researcher at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Epidemiology, senior researcher, head of the laboratory, leading researcher at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Ecology and Prevention of Infectious Diseases, assistant professor at the department, and since 1998 - professor at KGMA and KRSU.
Specialist in the field of viral infections in surgical hepatology. Published over 60 scientific works, including 1 monograph. Under her supervision, 8 candidate dissertations have been defended.
