Tentiev Jumabek (1948),
Doctor of Technical Sciences (1998), Professor (1993), Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (2000)
Kyrgyz. Born in the city of Naryn, Naryn region.
Graduated from LISI (1971), postgraduate studies at LISI (1980).
Worked as an engineer at "Giprospecgaz" in Leningrad, senior engineer at "Glavkirgizkolkhozstroy", engineer at the Research Institute of LISI, senior researcher at the Research Institute of the State Construction of the Kyrgyz SSR, associate professor, head of the Department of FPI, rector of KASI, and since 1998 - rector of KGU STA.
Specialist in the field of building structures made of composite materials for buildings and structures operated in extreme high-altitude conditions. Academician of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic (1999).
Published more than 50 scientific works, including 3 monographs and 2 textbooks.
Under his supervision, 2 doctoral and 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
