Abdrahmanov Sarbagysh Abdrahmanovich (1943), Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor (1995)
Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Temirovka, Issyk-Kul District, Issyk-Kul Region. Graduated from KGU (1964), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Physics and Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1970).
Worked as a senior engineer, junior researcher at the Institute of Physics and Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, senior lecturer, deputy dean, associate professor, head of department, dean of the Faculty of Engineering, professor, and since 1999 - vice-rector of KTU named after I. Razakov. Specialist in the field of physics and mechanics of solid bodies; calculations for strength and stiffness of engineering structures. Academician of the International Academy of Sciences, Education and Industry (California, USA, 1996), Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1999), International Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia, 2000).
Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic (1999). Published more than 100 scientific works, including 3 monographs, 5 textbooks, and educational-methodical manuals.
Under his supervision, 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
