Mambetakunov Esenbek (1944),
Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences (1992), Professor (1994), Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (2000)
Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kara-Koyun, At-Bashinsky District, Naryn Region.
Graduated from KSU (1965), postgraduate studies at Kyrgyz Research Institute of Pedagogy (1976).
Worked as a teacher, deputy director of a secondary school, instructor at a technical school, senior researcher at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Pedagogy, leading researcher, associate professor at KGNU, deputy director of KIO, and since 1997 - head of the department, head of the Research and Innovation Office of the Institute of Management and Professional Education at KGNU.
Specialist in the field of general pedagogy, theory and methodology of teaching physics. Academician of the International Academy of Humanization of Education (1995), Russian Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences (1998).
Laureate of the J. Balasagyn Prize. More than 270 scientific works published, including 8 monographs and 9 textbooks.
Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations have been defended.
