Bakirov Nasipbek Bakirovich (1936),

Candidate of Geographical Sciences (1974), Professor (2002), Laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of Science and Technology (2000)

Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Ak-Bashat, Moscow District, Chui Region.

Graduated from KSU (1958), postgraduate studies at the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1963).

Worked as a lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, and since 1980 - head of the department at the J. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University.

Specialist in the field of economic and social geography.

Awarded a medal and a certificate of honor from the Kyrgyz Republic.

Published more than 150 scientific works, including 4 monographs, 4 textbooks, and 2 dictionaries.

Under his supervision, 1 candidate's dissertation has been defended.
