Russian. Born in Frunze. Graduated from KGU (1971).
Worked as an engineer, junior researcher, senior researcher, scientific secretary of IFIMGP, and since 2001 - Deputy Director of the Institute for Foreign Relations of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. Specialist in the field of geomechanics of rock masses.
Published more than 50 scientific works, including 2 monographs and 1 textbook.
