Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Darkhan, Jeti-Oguz District, Issyk-Kul Region.

Graduated from FPI (1959), postgraduate studies at the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1965).

Worked as a master, head of a mine section, junior researcher, head of a laboratory, department head, dean, vice-rector, and rector of FPI.

Specialist in the field of geomechanics.

Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1992).

Awarded medals of the USSR, Certificate of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Published over 100 scientific works, including 4 monographs, 2 inventions, and 4 textbooks.

Under his supervision, 5 candidate dissertations have been defended.
