Saliev Erkin Azizovich

Painter. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on June 29, 1956, in the city of Frunze.

In 1975, he graduated from the Frunze Art College and in 1981 - from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography.

In 1988, he was a scholarship holder of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Since 1988, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Production designer for the films "White Steamboat," "Wolf's Pit," "Downpour," "Maymyl," the newsreels "Keregech," as well as many animated, short, and television films.

In the artist's work, a unique context allows for the creation of a painting through the lens of cinema, adding sharpness and drama to the action. In turn, his passion for painting aids in the visual composition of the footage in the changing frames of the film, where he serves as the production designer.

Participant in republican and international exhibitions.

His best works are kept in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, in museums of the CIS, and in private galleries in both neighboring and distant foreign countries.
