Moldobaev Orozbek
Painter. Born in 1953 in the village of Shalta, Sokuluk District, Chuy Region of the Kyrgyz SSR.
In 1972, he graduated from the Frunze Art School, and in 1992 - from the Kyrgyz State Institute of Arts named after B. Beishenaliev. Since 1972, he has been a drawing teacher in the city of Cholpon-Ata, since 1983 - a designer artist at the Kirov state farm, since 1986 - a designer artist at the Sokuluk District House of Culture, since 1990 - an artist at the Kyrgyz State Circus, and since 2004, he has been working as a designer artist at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
O. Moldobaev has created a gallery of portraits of outstanding state, public, and scientific figures of the republic: academicians Zh. Zheenbaev, B. Lmanakunov, M. Mamakeev, B. Sydykov, and many others.
He was awarded a bronze medal at the VDNH of the USSR (1979) and a Certificate of Honor from the Kyrgyz Republic. He is a participant in republican and international exhibitions. Since 1996, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic.
