Osmoev Urmat Tentimishovich
Graphic artist. Born on September 23, 1951, in the village of Bokombaev, Ton District, Issyk-Kul Region. In 1973, he graduated from the Frunze Art College, and then in 1978 from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. From 1978 to 1983, he was the head of the illustration and cartography department at the Kyrgyz Soviet Encyclopedia, and from 1983 to 1986, he worked at the State Publishing House of the Kyrgyz SSR as the chief artist. In 1986, he became a freelance artist at the "Kyrgyzstan" publishing house.
Since 1988, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Osmoev has extensive experience in designing works by classic writers of Kyrgyz and foreign literature. His work in book graphics demonstrates a high level of professionalism.
