The poet T. Baizakov was born on September 23, 1923, in the village of Bokey, Suzak District, Osh Region, in a peasant family.
In 1940, after graduating from the Tashtak Seven-Year School (now the village of Barpy) named after N.K. Krupskaya, he enrolled in the Jalal-Abad Pedagogical School, and in 1941 he was sent to a military school in Grozny.
From 1948 to 1950, he studied at the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute, and in 1954 he graduated from the philological faculty of KSU.
In 1942, he was drafted into the ranks of the Soviet Army and fought at the front. After a serious injury at the end of 1943, he was demobilized from the Armed Forces and returned to his homeland.
From 1944 to 1948, he worked as a teacher and director in schools in the Suzak District, and from 1950 to 1952, he was the editor of the Suzak District newspaper. Since 1954, he has been working as a teacher at the Republican Party School under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, and since 1955, he has been a literary consultant for the Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan, and since 1960, he has been a literary consultant on Kyrgyz literature at the Union of Writers of the USSR in Moscow.
From 1964 to 1979, he worked in the printing system of the State Publishing House of the Kyrgyz SSR.
He has been published since 1946. His first poetry collection "Parizat" was published in 1958. He translated poems by A.S. Pushkin, J.W. Goethe, L. Ukrainka, S. Rylsky, M. Jalil, M. Tanka, X. Alimjan, and others into Kyrgyz. He put a lot of effort into the collection, study, and publication of the poetic heritage of B. Alykulov.
For the book "Alone with a Dream," he was awarded the literary prize of the Union of Writers of the USSR named after A.A. Fadeev in 1985 and received a gold medal.
He has been a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1947 and a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR since 1958.
He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War I degree, many medals of the USSR, and honorary certificates from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.
He was elected as a member of the Suzak District Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan (1951-1952), a member of the Sverdlovsk District Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan in Frunze (1957-1960), and a member of the Frunze City Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan.
