Mataev Jusup
Painter, graphic artist. Born on February 21, 1956, in the village of Kyzyl-Ozgorush, Toktogul District, Kyrgyz SSR.
In 1979, he graduated from the Frunze Art School, and in 1994, he graduated from the Faculty of Culture of the I. Arabayev Kyrgyz State Pedagogical University.
Since 1979, he has been a decorator at the Art Fund of Kyrgyzstan.
Participant in republican exhibitions.
His works are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, as well as in private collections in both near and far abroad.
Author of the State Flag of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Since 1991, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic.
