Bekbalaev Amangeldy Abdyzhaparovich (1947), Doctor of Philological Sciences (1992), Professor (1994).Kyrgyz. Born in the city of Frunze. Graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages of KSU (1975), postgraduate studies at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages named after M. Teresa (MGPIIA, 1979). Worked as the head of the department at KSU, dean of the V.V. Mayakovsky KZPI, dean of the RGPh, first vice-rector of KGNU, rector of the I. Arabayev KGPU, and since 2001 - advisor to the rector of KGNU. Specialist in the field of German philology. Academician of the Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences of the Russian Federation (1998), New York Academy of Sciences (1999).
Awarded the highest award of the SOKU University "Gold Medal" (Japan, Tokyo, 1999). More than 60 scientific works published, including 3 monographs and 4 textbooks. Under his supervision, 10 candidate dissertations have been defended.
