Imanaliev Murzabek (1931),

Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1964), Professor (1965), Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1979), Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1981)

Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kainy in the Kemin district of Chui region, Kyrgyz Republic. Graduated from KSU (1953), postgraduate studies at KSU and MSU (1956).

Worked as an associate professor at KSU, vice-rector of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering, head of the department at KSU, director of the Institute of Physics and Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, rector of KSU, president of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, and since 1984 - director of the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Specialist in the field of mathematics and mathematical physics.

Awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1980), Manas of the III degree (1997), medals of the USSR, Gold Medal of the Kyrgyz Republic (2001). Honored Worker of Science of the Kirghiz SSR (1981). Published over 200 scientific works, including 6 monographs and 7 inventions.

Under his supervision, 9 doctoral and 40 candidate dissertations were defended.
