Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Chapkynchy, Suzak District, Jalal-Abad Region.
Graduated from Kirgospedinstitute (1950).
Worked as a teacher, associate professor, professor, head of the department, and rector of Kirgospedinstitute.
Specialist in the history of the development of industry in Kyrgyzstan.
Awarded medals of the USSR.
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (1993). Published more than 100 scientific works, including 6 monographs.
Under his supervision, 10 candidate dissertations have been defended.
