Mamasayidov Mukhammedzhan Tashalievich (1949),
Doctor of Technical Sciences (1989), Professor (1992), Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (2000)
Uzbek. Born in the village of Aravan, Aravan District, Osh Region.
Graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Engineering (1971), postgraduate studies there (1975).
Worked as an engineer, junior and senior researcher, head of a group, head of the laboratory at the Research Center "Impulse" of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, head of the department at the Institute of Mining and Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, head of the department, vice-rector of the Osh Technical College, rector of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek Higher Technological College, deputy of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic, and since 1997 - rector of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek University (KUU).
Specialist in the field of mechanics and mining machinery engineering.
Academician of the International Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1996), International Academy of Informatization (1997), New York Academy of Sciences (1998).
Awarded the USSR Medal, Certificate of Honor (1983), Honorary Diploma of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR, medals of the Kyrgyz Republic. Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Kyrgyzstan (1977).
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (1998). Published more than 150 scientific works, including 7 monographs and 33 inventions.
Under his supervision, 7 candidate dissertations have been defended.
