Worked as an engineer, research associate, head of the laboratory at the Institute of Geology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, associate professor, head of the department at Osh State University, professor at Bishkek State University, senior research associate at the Institute of Water Problems and Hydrogeology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, since 2001 - head of the department at Bishkek State University.
Specialist in the field of geoecology, hydrology, hydroecology.
Published more than 50 scientific works, including 3 monographs and 1 textbook.
Under his supervision, 1 candidate dissertation has been defended.
