Belekov Zhanek Omoshevich (1960), Doctor of Medical Sciences (1997), Professor.Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Mirza-Aki, Uzgen District, Osh Region. Graduated from KGMI (1985), postgraduate studies at the A.V. Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (Moscow, 1990), doctoral studies at the National Center for Surgery of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty, 1997). Worked as a paramedic, resident, assistant at the KGMI department, acting chief surgeon of the Chui Regional Health Department, surgeon at the Republican Clinical Hospital, assistant, professor at KGMA, and since 1998 - head of the department at the Osh Regional Hospital.
Specialist in the field of surgery. Member of the Moscow Oncology Society, member of the Association of Surgeons - Hepatologists. Published more than 60 scientific works, including 3 inventions.
