Rafibekov Jangir Salimovich (1946),

Azerbaijani. Born in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Graduated from KGMU (1971), completed clinical residency there (1973), doctoral studies at MONIKI (Moscow, 1994).

Worked as a nurse, surgeon at RKB, assistant, associate professor, senior researcher, professor at the KGMU department, and since 1999 - head of the department of faculty surgery at the Central Clinical and Diagnostic Center of KGMU. Specialist in the field of endocrine and general surgery.

Published over 130 scientific works, including 5 monographs.

Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
