Akhunbaev Meder Isaevich (1946-1999), Doctor of Medical Sciences (1995).Kyrgyz. Born in Frunze. Graduated from the Medical Faculty of KGMI (1970), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (1974).
Worked as an assistant at the Department of General Surgery at KGMI, senior scientific editor at KSE, physician at Polyclinic No. 1 in Frunze, resident physician at RKB, head of the "Diabetic Foot" office at the City Endocrinology Dispensary in Bishkek. Specialist in vascular surgery, cardiac surgery, purulent surgery, endocrinology.
Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of the Kyrgyz SSR. Published over 100 scientific works, including 10 monographs and 5 educational manuals.
