Worked as head of the department at the Przhevalsky Pedagogical Institute, senior researcher at the Institute of Party History under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, head of the department at KZPI, head of the department, dean, vice-rector for academic work, professor at PIRYAL, chief specialist at KIO, and since 1993 - head of the Department of Humanities at KGMI. Specialist in the field of history.

Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, and certificates of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR. More than 100 scientific works published, including 4 monographs.

Under his supervision, 11 candidate dissertations have been defended.
