Jewish. Born in Frunze. Graduated from KGMI (1954), KGU (1953), postgraduate studies at KGMI and KGU. Worked as a senior researcher, and since 1964 - head of the department at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Specialist in the field of methodological problems of psychology, theory of understanding and thinking. Awarded medals of the USSR. More than 250 scientific works published, including 6 monographs and brochures. Under his supervision, 3 doctoral and 22 candidate dissertations have been defended.
