Finkel Elena Abramovna (1923),
Doctor of Medical Sciences (1969), Professor (1972), Laureate of the State Prize of the Kirghiz SSR in the field of science and technology (1988)
Russian. Born in the city of Slavgorod, Altai Krai.
Graduated from KGMU (1946), and completed postgraduate studies there (1949).
Worked as an assistant at KGMU, head of the laboratory at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Tuberculosis, head of the laboratory at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Ecology and Prevention of Infectious Diseases, and since 1991 - head of the microbiology laboratory at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Tuberculosis.
Specialist in the field of medical microbiology.
Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor. Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic (2000).
Published more than 260 scientific works, including 8 monographs, 11 inventions, 9 textbooks and teaching aids.
Under her supervision, 10 candidate dissertations have been defended.
