Makovsky Eduard Eduardovich (1930-2002),

Russian. Born in the city of Kerch, Crimea.
Graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation Engineers (1954).
Worked as a junior researcher at the Institute of Energy of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, Deputy Director, Head of the Laboratory, Director of the Institute of Automation of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chairman of the Department of Physical and Technical, Mathematical and Mining Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of automation of production processes and management of hydraulic and irrigation systems.
Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, Certificate of Honor and Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR.
Honored Figure of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Honored Inventor of the Kirghiz SSR (1980).
Published more than 170 scientific works, including 7 monographs and 45 author’s certificates.
Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 13 candidate dissertations were defended.
