
Alimov Oleg Dmitrievich (1923), Doctor of Technical Sciences (1959), Professor (1961), Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1974), Laureate of State Prizes of the USSR and the Kyrgyz Republic
Russian. Born in Novosibirsk, Russia. Graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic Institute (1949).
Worked as a lecturer, head of the department at Tomsk Polytechnic Institute, head of the laboratory, director of the Institute of Mining and Geological Prospecting, head of the department at the Institute of Automation, scientific secretary of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR. Specialist in the field of machine engineering and improvement of mining machines. Awarded the Order of Lenin and medals of the USSR. Academician of the International, Kyrgyz, and Russian Academies of Sciences.
Published over 400 scientific works, including more than 130 author certificates and patents for inventions.
