Turdukulov Asker Turdukulovich (1936),
Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences (1984), Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1993), Professor (2001)
Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Orto-Suu, Jayil District, Chui Region.
Graduated from the Moscow Geological Exploration Institute (1957).
Worked as a junior researcher at the Institute of Geology, senior researcher, head of the laboratory, and since 1994 - director of the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in seismology, engineering seismology, and regional geology.
Academician of the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (1992).
Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic (1997). Published over 100 scientific works, including 12 monographs.
Under his supervision, 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
