Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Bosteri, Issyk-Kul District, Issyk-Kul Region of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Graduated from KSU (1977), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Chemical Technology of the USSR Academy of Sciences (Moscow, 1984).

Worked as a trainee-laboratory assistant, junior researcher at the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Kyrgyz SSR Academy of Sciences, research trainee at the Institute of Chemical Technology (Moscow), junior researcher, researcher, senior researcher, head of the laboratory at the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, professor at KGNU, KG-MI, head of the Department of Environmental Engineering, professor, and since 2002 - Dean of the Engineering Faculty of KTU "Manas".

Specialist in the field of processes and apparatus of chemical technology and industrial ecology.

Included in the collection "500 Leaders of Science" by the American Biographical Institute. Published more than 130 scientific works, including 2 monographs, 3 inventions, and 14 industrial implementations.

Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
