Jewish. Born in Kyiv.

Graduated from Kyiv State University (1960).

Worked as a geophysicist, chief engineer of geophysical teams and expeditions, head of the geophysics department of the Geological Management of Kyrgyzstan, head of the Experimental and Methodological Seismic Expedition of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. Specialist in general and regional geology.

Awarded the medal of the USSR.

Published more than 70 scientific works, including 2 monographs.
