Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Belek, Sokuluk District, Chui Region of the Kyrgyz Republic. Graduated from FPI (1960), postgraduate studies at the Lenin Electrotechnical Institute (Leningrad, 1964).
Worked as a teacher, senior teacher, associate professor at BPI, head of the department at the Main Editorial Office of the KSE, director of the NIEM, rector of the management institute of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, director of the NTs "Electrotechnics", and since 1992 - professor at KTU.
Specialist in the field of electrical engineering. Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1992), Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan (1994), International Academy of Electrical Engineering Sciences (1998). Awarded Honorary Certificates from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR (1978, 1985), the USSR Medal (1987), and the "Dank" Medal (2000).
Published more than 160 scientific works, including 9 monographs and 8 dictionaries. Under his supervision, 4 candidate dissertations have been defended.
