Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Samarkandek, Batken District, Osh Region. Graduated from OGPi (Osh, 1964), postgraduate studies at KGU (1967).
Worked as a teacher, senior teacher, associate professor, dean of OGPi, professor, head of the department at OshGU, director of the Institute of Fundamental and Applied Sciences, vice-rector for higher education at OshTU, and since 2001 - vice-rector for research and educational centers at OshGU.
Specialist in the field of solid-state physics. Awarded medals of the USSR and a Certificate of Honor from the Kyrgyz Republic. Published over 110 scientific works, including 1 monograph. Under his supervision, 2 doctoral and 6 candidate dissertations have been defended.
